No matter how many ages rush past
No matter how many generations die out
No matter the dawn of any new age
There are things that are revered similarly throughout

Yes, the rains
Those drops from a heavenly spring
Filling the bellies of peasants and poets alike

    it just needs a bit more finishing
    the flow seems to be lost in between
